What's behind your negative emotions?
It's always a BELIEF!
Yes, a belief! A belief is a firmly held thought in the mind backed with imagination and emotion.
Change the BELIEF, and you'll change how you feel and your life.
You don't just feel a negative emotion for no reason at all. Emotions are not hiding around the corner, waiting to attack you. LOL
For example: If you believe people with purple hair are out to get you, and you walk into a restaurant and see people with purple hair, how will you feel?
Sacred, paranoid, and fearful.
On the other hand, if you believe people with purple hair are angels, you'll have a completely different reaction.
To access your beliefs that are causing the negative emotions ask this question.
In order for me to feel this emotion, what must I believe is true?
Example:
EMOTION: I feel stuck and powerless.
QUESTION: In order for me to feel this emotion, what must I believe is true?
ANSWER: I'm not good enough, I can't figure out what I'm doing?
QUESTION: I feel this way because?
ANSWER: I don't have the education and experience.
It's not that you are NOT GOOD ENOUGH! It's that you are not committed enough to your WHY and your dream!
It's not that you are NOT GOOD ENOUGH! It's that you are not willing to fail enough!
Okay, what can you do to FEEL better about yourself? And what would happen if you put a plan together and started taking action?
I bet you would feel relief, enthusiasm and inspired!
What can you do right now to start feeling better about yourself?
What baby steps can you take to move forward.
REWRITE THE BELIEF. I am good enough to get started.
I'm good enough to learn more.
I'm good enough to try and fail and try again.
I'm good enough to have read this, and NOW I'M GOING TO TAKE ACTION.
Taking action is a demonstration of positive belief.
